A Toddler Friendly Easter

For many new parents, chocolate might not be at the top of your list for foods you want to feed your little ones. This year I’ve come up with an alternative treat that will still allow your toddlers to participate in a traditional Easter egg hunt. Instead of filling plastic eggs with chocolates fill them with Gerber Yogurt Melts. These yogurt treats are both healthy and sweet!

Don’t know what to do with all of those plastic eggs after Easter? Help grow your children’s vocabulary with this simple craft! Simply group words with similar endings and put write them on an egg in sharpie. For example: mop and stop both end in “op”. On one half of the egg wright “op” and on the other half write” st” and “m”. Your child can then twist the top half of the egg, to match it with the ending of the word. This is amazing at teaching your kids how to spell and rhyme.
